Developing National Identity Scale: As Indonesian Case

Background: National identity is an important concept to be developed, so it necessary have a measurement instrument that evidence of validity and reliability. Thus, the accuracy information obtained through this will guaranteed. Objective: This article aims examine psychometric property national scale fulfill standardization accurate measurement. Methods: In study, three analytical approaches were used, those are content involving eight subject matter experts (SME), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) reliability analysis. For CFA approach, 300 students used as samples who taken convenience sampling technique. Results: The results show out 20 items compiled in analysis, one item inadequate because has below standard score on Aiken's coefficient validity. then revised again included tryout data collection for next stage model fit there two items, while contribution factors significant. third was found adequate had effect low Standard Error Measurement (SEM).
